Hundreds were in attendance at Chabad’s Sukkos Expo in Tarzana featuring pizza and snow cones in the Sukkah, Deal or No Deal, Mad Science and beautiful arts & crafts projects. With a Sukkah Mobile on hand children from throughout the S. Fernando Valley enjoyed Chabad’s high flying trip to Sky High Jump. Over 3000 were in attendance at the Chabad Grand Community Simchas Beis Hashoeiva featuring 8th Day and Yoni Zigelboum in concert! |

Chabad of the Valley celebrated the culmination of its raffle campaign benefiting the Chabad’s - Gan Israel scholarship fund, at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.
The evening begen with a VIP tour of the library, and the Air Force One Pavilion. The event also featured a performance by Mentalist-Brent Webb, and his award winnig show BEYOND IMPOSSIBLE! Eli Marcus serenated the assembled with his melodious voice. |

Washington, DC, Shliach Rabbi Levi Shemtov was the guest speaker at a Gimmel Tammuz farbrengen at Chabad of the Valley, California.
Some 1,000 people from all walks of life gathered at Chabad of the Valley Headquarters in Tarzana on Tuesday evening, Gimmel Tammuz, to observe the 17th Yahrzeit of the Rebbe.
A full meal was served. People listened intently and spellbound as Rabbi Levi Shemtov, emissary of the Rebbe and Director of American Friends of Lubavitch in Washington, DC, regaled the audience with stories, lessons and anecdotes about the Rebbe and Lubavitch. |

Many hundreds were on hand Saturday night for the Grand Purim Celebration at Chabad of Tarzana. Children and adults dressed in costume, brought the house down as they twirled groggers of all sorts during the Megillah reading. The evening was topped off with a juggler and live band who performed to the delight of the crowd. |

Chabad of the Valley had another smashing success at its annual Chanuka extravaganza at Universal Studios Citywalk. Hundreds of Jewish men, woman and children joined in the celebration in included amazing entertainment. |

Rabbi Yossi Paltiel joined Chabad of the Valley for a Melaveh Malka held at The Teichman Family Social Hall in Tarzana. After brief remarks from Rabbi Gordon and Rabbi Einbinder, Rabbi Paltiel addressed the crowd of several hundred, sharing words of wisdom and inspiration about the Torah's advice on marriage and relationships. |

Following two full hours of unlimited games it was off to LA's hottest temporary attraction - the Chabad Sukkah of Downtown LA for lunch in the Sukkah! Chabad of Tarzana, Gan Israel School and the Chabad Hebrew School held a beautiful Sukkos Party on Sunday. The non stop action and entertainment included a fascinating presentation by the "Reptile Family", an exciting game of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire", beautiful arts & crafts projects and a Pizza Party in the Sukkah! Hundreds joined Chabad of the Valley for its annual banquet celebrating 37 years of serving the greater S. Fernando Valley. U. S. Congressman Brad Sherman opened the evening with inspiring words of praise for Chabad of the Valley and all of their valuable work on behalf of the community.
The evening featured a concert by renowned singer and entertainer Jordan Bennett. His beautiful rendition of Avinu Malkeinu brought tears to many, as his powerful, melodious voice echoed throughout the hall. |
