In response to the current health crisis and extreme  level of concern due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we have implemented new protocols to increase our level of scrutiny in all areas of cleanliness and safety. We have also adapted new screening measures to help protect our users and prevent further spread of the virus.

  1. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, you may not use the Mikvah until you have been cleared by your doctor, Rav and the Mikvah administration or Shoshana Manssouri.

  2. If you are feeling sick or under the weather in any way at all you may not use the Mikvah until you have been cleared by your doctor, Rav and the Mikvah administration or Shoshana Manssouri.

  3. If you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 and/or meet the criteria for mandatory quarantine, you may not use the Mikvah for 14 days from time of exposure and you have been cleared by your doctor, Rav and the Mikvah administration or Shoshana Manssouri.

  4. All visitors will have their temperature taken before entering. Anyone with an elevated temperature will not be allowed to use the Mikvah.

  5. In an effort to keep with recommendations for ‘social distancing,’ we plan to allow only one woman in the waiting room at a time. In the event that the waiting room is occupied, we will ask that you wait in your car, and we will call you when the room has emptied.

The Mikvah Administration asks that any visitor who develops a confirmed case of Coronavirus within 14 days after their Mikvah visit, notify us immediately so that we can take additional steps to ensure the safety of our users.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call Shoshana Manssouri at 818-903-9325.

Please be assured that we are in constant communication with health professionals and rabbinic leaders regarding the status of the Mikvah. Should any changes be necessary, we will act accordingly.
