The Daily Torah Portion

Spiced with insights of the Rebbe with selections of the Baal Haturim

The Five Books of Moses are divided into 53 “sidros” or portions - each of which serve as “The Sedra” for a given week of the year. Likewise, every Sedra is divided into 7 portions - each of which serve as the “Parsha” for a given day of the week. Thus, by “religiously” studying the portion of the day, one could, in effect, complete the study of the entire Chumash during the course of the year. Held immediately following the morning services, the daily portion of Chumash and Rashi, with selections of the Baal Haturim, is reviewed  and clearly explained along with mystical and practical insights from the teachings of the Rebbe. These classes, spiced with humorous anecdotes, have been a hit since their inception.
