The annual Israel Day festival in the Valley attracts thousands to a day of fun in the sun. As usual Chabad of the Valley had a Mitvah booth, dunning Teffilin with hundreds of men and boys over Bar Mitzvah, and distributing thousand of Shabbat Candle lighting kits to women and girls.

Hundreds attended the Chabad Pre Purim Carnival on Sunday February 21st in Tarzana.

Chabad of Tarzana held a beautiful Melaveh Malka on Saturday night February 20th hosted by Effy and Eva Meirson at their home.

World-renowned author, counselor, lecturer and philosopher, Rabbi Manis Friedman uses ancient wisdom and modern wit as he captivates audiences around the world.

The children and parents had a great time doing arts and crafts, watching the olive press show and their own videos which they produced, playing Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and most important, performing amazing dances. It was truly a lot of fun.

A Grand Community-Wide Menorah Lighting and Party was held at Super Sal in Tarzana. Everyone enjoyed the Live Music, Dancing Dreidels, Balloons, Juggler, Donuts, Hot Latkes, Sushi and much more. A great time was had by all!

Chabad of the Valley will celebrated its 8th annual Chanukah Festival at Universal Studios CityWalk Hollywood on Saturday night, December 12, 2009, with a grand ceremonial Menorah lighting.

Women and girls from the community got together for an evening of baking Challah and dancing.

Rabbi Perelmuter Lecture the spiritual leader of The Shul by The Shore in Long Beach, California delivered a lecture entitled: Laughter is the Best Medicine The lighter side of Judaism: Using laughter to meet the challenges of life.

Chabad of the valley youth had an amazing time going bowling and having pizza Saturday night

Chabad of Tarzana held a beautiful Melaveh Malka at the home of Mark and Risa Moskowitz. The evening was highlighted by a lively kumzitz around the fire, with inspiring stories and songs, led by Rabbi Shmulie Schlanger of Chabad of Bakersfield.

Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who made this phone-a-thon possible and exciting. Thousands of dollars were raised.
